SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor of Business or equivalent in human resources or similar people related qualification
  • 2 - 5 years’ experience in a Human Resources generalist position or similar previous heavy industry experience
  • Exposure to and experience in case management along with a notable understanding Modern Awards and Fair Work Act 2009
  • Proven ability to research and comprehend workplace Awards and Industrial Relations to provide correct and relevant information and advice to stakeholders
  • Demonstrated skills in managing sensitive situations during performance management and grievance situations
  • Analytical skills for the analysis of HR data, identifying trends and presentation of reports.
Responsibilities

Centurion is embarking on an exciting organisational change within the People team, and we have a great opportunity available for a People & Capability Advisor to join us.

  • Act as the first point of contact for key stakeholders regarding employee relations as well as responding to all people related queries.
  • Be responsible for reviewing and updating policies and procedures and for providing advice on performance management.
  • Coach and support stakeholders to build sustainable high-performing teams across the business through talent management and development initiatives, with a focus on the engagement and retention of our people.
  • Collaborate with teams to plan and deliver mechanisms aligning people with our company goals and objectives, including talent, performance, and remuneration reviews.
  • Identify changes and improvements to P&C policies and practices and ensure effective communication and implementation within each team.
  • Partner with the team to drive P&C initiatives that support business objectives and promote a positive work culture.
