JOB OVERVIEW

HR plays a key role in supporting the business achieve its strategic and operational objectives. The function is pivotal in creating, fostering and implementing a positive culture in which talent will thrive. The HR function is in its infancy and so our client is currently introducing new processes and initiatives across a range of areas – making it an exciting time to join! As the scale and complexity of the business continues to grow, they’re seeking to add operational HR experience in order to support the HR Manager in the overall delivery and continuous improvement of the function.
This hybrid role (office and field-based) will be technical and varied in nature, covering different aspects of the HR lifecycle including, but not limited, to: onboarding; ER; performance management, OD & recruitment. Given the nature of the business, the right candidate will be an individual that thrives in a dynamic work environment that is capable of working flexibly to maximise their positive impact. This will create interesting and business wide projects as they move forward, providing a varied and challenging workload for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

· Provide expert HR guidance to Managers and Employees on a range of HR matters including employee relations, performance management and absence management.
· Champion Employee engagement at all times, including assisting in creation, rollout and management of employee engagement survey in 2025.
· Working closely with key stakeholders to drive HR best practices and support business objectives.
· Drive the sourcing of talent with the right mix of potential and performance for the role, whilst providing cost-effective solutions and options, upskilling Hiring Managers where required.
· Support the creation and management of the PSL for all external recruitment activities – cost control and justifying external usage.
· Contribute to ongoing Talent / Engagement / L&D initiatives.
· Engaging regularly with field teams to gather feedback, drive initiatives and assess behaviours.
· Assist the HR Manager with ad hoc projects, policy reviews and process improvements.
