GENERALIST ROLE WITH CAREER PATH TO HR BUSINESS PARTNER

Coventry (Onsite with Some Flexibility)
£33,000-£35,000 + Benefits
Ready to build your HR career with a company that’s transforming its culture and people strategy? Looking to evolve into a true Business Partner while keeping your hands on the full employee lifecycle?
This is an exceptional opportunity for a confident, curious, and committed HR Advisor to join a well-established, UK-based organisation in the midst of cultural and operational evolution.
You’ll be stepping into a broad generalist HR role with real visibility, variety, and influence. From employee relations to recruitment, coaching managers to shaping onboarding and internal communications-you’ll have a voice, a seat at the table, and the support to grow into a future HR Business Partner.

YOUR ROLE AT A GLANCE

This position offers hands-on responsibility and breadth across the HR lifecycle. You’ll report to a Senior HR Business Partner and serve as a trusted advisor to both corporate and operational managers.

Day-to-Day You’ll:

  • Manage ER cases independently-handling absence, performance, disciplinary, grievance and wellbeing cases.
  • Coordinate and improve recruitment processes-from advertising and screening through to onboarding.
  • Coach line managers on people practices, policies, and decision-making.
  • Support internal communications-drafting briefings, engagement bulletins and policy updates.
  • Analyse HR metrics-including absence trends, recruitment performance, and staff turnover.
  • Review and enhance HR policies and workflows, with a mindset of continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to cultural change initiatives, including onboarding enhancements and employee engagement surveys.
