GXO are currently looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join us at our M&S ambient food operation at Milton Keynes.
You will provide a comprehensive first level advisory service, through a small team, to line managers on site. You’ll play an integral role in supporting the people agenda to align culture, talent, structure and processes.
This is a 16-month fixed term contract, to cover maternity leave. The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00.

Responsibilities
  • Provide quality advice and consultancy support to line managers on employee relations, including managing discipline and grievance matters and end to end support of the absence management process, driving improvements
  • Proactively monitor and provide the HR Manager with management information relating to HR matters, such as HR statistics for employee headcount turnover and absence
  • Support the agreed people development strategy which delivers business objectives, supporting manager training modules and other training initiatives
  • Liaise with relevant reporting lines within the business to manage the recruitment process against planned recruitment and training plans
