Description

Location: Hampshire/Dorset border - Office-based

Salary: up to £48,000 + excellent benefits

Contract: Permanent, Full-time

We're partnering with a successful and growing organisation to recruit an experienced HR Advisor to support a busy operational function of approximately 100 employees within a customer contact centre environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys building strong relationships with managers, providing practical people advice, and managing a broad range of employee relations matters in a fast-paced setting.

Working as part of a developing HR team, you'll act as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, helping to create a positive, engaged and high-performing workplace culture.

A significant focus of this position will be supporting managers within the contact centre operation, where you'll provide proactive and commercially focused HR guidance across a wide range of people matters.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a variety of employee relations cases, including absence, performance, disciplinary, grievance and conduct matters
  • Coaching and supporting managers to build confidence in handling people issues effectively
  • Providing clear and pragmatic advice in line with employment legislation and company policies
  • Supporting organisational change projects and consultation processes when required
  • Identifying trends and underlying causes of people-related issues and recommending improvements
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures and manager guidance
  • Delivering training and coaching to managers on employee relations best practice
  • Producing HR reports and insights to support decision-making
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the HR function

We're looking for an HR professional who combines strong employment law knowledge with a practical, people-focused approach.

You'll be able to demonstrate:

  • Previous experience in an HR Advisor position
  • Strong employee relations experience and confidence managing complex cases independently
  • Experience supporting operational, customer service or contact centre environments would be highly advantageous
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • The ability to balance employee wellbeing with commercial business needs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification, or equivalent experience
  • Experience using HR systems and Microsoft Office applications

What's on Offer

  • Competitive salary
  • Generous holiday allowance with options to buy or sell additional leave
  • Enhanced pension contribution
  • Life assurance
  • Employee wellbeing programme
  • Health screening
  • Professional development opportunities
  • Recognition and reward schemes
  • Additional lifestyle and wellbeing benefits

If you're looking for an opportunity where you can make a genuine impact, build strong relationships with operational leaders, and play a key role in supporting a customer-focused workforce, we'd love to hear from you.

Diversity, equity, and inclusion

Equality, Diversity & Inclusion is embedded into our DNA and one of our core business pillars. We firmly believe in equity for all and have pledged to continue attracting a workforce that reflects this, not only for ourselves but for the clients and candidates we engage with.

They are the guiding principles of how we build our teams and future leaders and how we inspire organisations to diversify talent pools. We have a global multi-cultural following and are duty-bound to reflect this in our hiring processes.

From candidate attraction through to Board representation, ED&I touches every part of the process and people need to feel comfortable bringing their whole selves to work knowing they will be treated equally and fairly, that they belong and that their opinion matters.

We have signed the Race Fairness Commitment Pledge which ensures fairness at work for people of all ethnic backgrounds and the Change the Race Ratio, which aims to accelerate racial diversity in business.

Pioneered a mentoring scheme tackling gender and age diversity.

There is more work to be done, but with the help of our employees, customers, strategic partners, and network we can achieve #EqualityForAll.
