Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking an HR professional to join our innovative team as a Human Resource Advisor supporting New Aim. We are seeking a dynamic professional with at least one year of experience who will partner with other team members to provide exceptional HR support, guidance, and leadership across business operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Arrange for advertising of job vacancies, utilizing both traditional and digital media platforms that target candidates with specific expertise in ecommerce technology and operations.
  • Interview and test applicants, focusing on skills that align with New Aim’s proprietary technology, supply chain management, and multichannel integration.
  • Select and onboard staff who can contribute to and thrive in a fast-paced, innovative e-commerce environment, ensuring they understand the unique aspects of New Aim’s business model and technology platforms.
  • Maintain accurate personnel records and enhance associated human resource information systems to support efficient management of over 6,000 SKUs and partnerships with leading Australian brands.
  • Provide detailed and updated job vacancy information to internal teams and potential candidates, highlighting roles that support ecommerce and technology innovation.
  • Offer advice and information to management on workplace relations policies and procedures, focusing on maintaining a supportive environment that fosters technological innovation and operational efficiency.
  • Manage staff performance issues and disciplinary matters by leveraging data from our AI-powered analytics platforms to ensure fair and productive outcomes.
  • Study and interpret ecommerce-related legislation, awards, collective agreements, and employment contracts to ensure compliance and advise on best practices.
  • Undertake negotiations on terms and conditions of employment that align with New Aim’s strategic goals, addressing productivity and workplace adaptability.
  • Develop and implement HR initiatives that align with enterprise agreements or collective contracts, focusing on productivity and innovation in the workplace.
  • Oversee the formation and conduct of workplace consultative committees and drive employee participation initiatives that encourage contribution to and engagement with New Aim’s evolving business strategies.
