SUMMARY

We are seeking a Human Resources Advisor to join our team in Newbury. This role is vital in supporting our mission by ensuring our workforce is engaged and well-managed, contributing to our commitment to excellence in service delivery.

• Provide HR support and guidance to management and staff.
• Assist with recruitment processes, including job postings and candidate screenings.
• Facilitate employee onboarding and training programs.
• Support performance management processes and employee relations initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
• Collaborate with management on HR-related projects and initiatives.
• Carry out various administrative tasks.
• Support the TUPE processes for new and outgoing contracts.
• Carry out employment DBS checks for new and existing staff.
• Advise managers and participate in disciplinary and grievance processes.
• Qualifications and Experience
• CIPD qualified
• Proven experience in human resources or related field.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
• Proficient in data entry and administrative tasks.
• Familiarity with employment legislation and best practices.
• Experience with database systems is a plus.
• A practical, flexible and ‘hands-on’ approach is key.
