The Human Resources Analyst position exists to support the Human Resources department as an expert in systems, processes, and reporting; gathering and compiling project and system requirements; applying proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills; and is an expert user of the various HR systems (including Dayforce and Microsoft products). This position also provides support for the Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development, and Volunteer Teams in the areas of data management and reporting and the Human Resources Department in the areas of data entry tasks, budget reconciliation, and file management, as well as provides some administrative support for the Sr. Vice President of HR and the Intern Program.

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in HRIS systems and/or reporting
  • 2-4 years of experience in using analytical and computer skills
  • Knowledge of HR technologies
  • Working knowledge of FOF and HR mission, philosophies, values, and objectives

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develops and maintains Recruitment and Volunteer data for weekly reports as requested
  • Elicits, interprets, and analyzes functional, technical, and operational requirements to assure that HRIS systems meet requirements
  • Provides initial analysis of problem patterns to make recommendations for process and technology improvements
  • Gathers information for quarterly board reports, including, but not limited to: EEO data, Talent Acquisition productivity statistics, Learning and Development measures and volunteer impact numbers
  • Is able to assist Talent Acquisition Specialists with all technical aspects of the Talent Acquisition process
  • Provides support with HR technology to strengthen strategy objectives as defined by the Sr. Vice President of Human Resources
  • May represent the technical interests of HR as department liaison with IT and other ministry departments or cross-functional teams
  • Liaises with outside HR system vendors to communicate and resolve issues, problems as appropriate
  • Manages specified HR metrics from inception, to report creation, data analysis, and presentation
  • Manages the HR policy database maintenance process, updating policies to reflect appropriate changes
  • Creates and maintains organizational charts for the organization
  • Analyzes and reviews existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement
  • Functions as Administrator for selected HR technology systems and process
  • Provides administrative support to both the Sr. VP of HR and the Intern Program as necessary
