Description

Serve as the primary point of contact for all HR-related inquiries and employee concerns • Manage end-to-end recruitment: job postings, applicant screening, interview coordination, and onboarding

  • Maintain employee personnel files and HR records in compliance with legal and organizational standards
  • Design and implement foundational HR systems (e.g., employee database, training schedules, internal policy procedures)
  • Update and enforce HR policies and procedures across all departments
  • Support employee relations, including conflict resolution, investigations, and documentation

Coordinate and track all mandatory trainings and certifications

  • Lead annual benefits administration, open enrollment, and vendor communications Conduct exit interviews and manage offboarding processes
  • Develop and maintain a structured new hire orientation and onboarding manual
  • Coordinate with leadership to support DEIinformed policies aligned with civil rights laws and organizational values

Process bi-weekly payroll using Paychex Flex in coordination with the Finance team • Ensure accurate tracking of employee time, attendance, and paid time off

  • Maintain payroll records, deductions, tax forms, and direct deposit updates Respond to and resolve payrollrelated discrepancies and inquiries

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws (EEO, FMLA, ADA, NYS Labor Law, etc.)

  • Prepare and submit compliance reports (e.g., EEO1, ACA reporting) Stay uptodate on HR legislation and implement changes as needed
  • Generate reports and data to support audits, grant compliance, and organizational reviews Establish secure, centralized digital HR recordkeeping practices for personnel files, trainings, and evaluations
  • Maintain grievance and complaint resolution policies and manage internal procedures

Support a positive, inclusive workplace culture aligned with TCAH’s mission and values • Provide training and guidance to managers and staff on HR procedures and best practices • Assist in the development and facilitation of annual performance review processes

  • Collaborate with operations and program leads to ensure safety protocols and workplace procedures are consistently followed
  • Plan and coordinate annual staff engagement activities such as the staff and family picnic, teambuilding events, and management retreats in collaboration with senior leadership
