Description

The Human Resources Assistant will support the Human Resources (US) Department on HR-related functions in compliance with all applicable labor laws, health plans, and benefits standards.
As part of the HR (US) team, the HR Assistant will be responsible for handling a variety of tasks, including employment verification, employee file maintenance, new hire documentation, benefits administration, and other assigned administrative duties.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Post-secondary education, preferably in Human Resources or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Human Resources or administrative support (customer service experience will also be considered)
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to perform well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Good interpersonal skills, detail-oriented, and a collaborative team player with a commitment to high-quality work
  • Fluency in English and Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin)
Responsibilities
  • Follow up with Store Managers and Operations Supervisors on outstanding hiring documents
  • Maintain employee personnel files and HR records
  • Assist with benefits administration and routine document filing.
  • Provide administrative support on projects and daily paperwork
  • Coordinate distribution of required state labor law posters to stores in the US
