Description
The Human Resources Assistant is responsible for providing support to the Human Resources Teams.  Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Supports HR Leadership with day-to-day responsibilities as needed * Owns time adjustment and time off request processes for SC Team * Partners in onboarding and offboarding activities for local and remote team members * Enters new team members into the HR information system (HRIS) and maintains up-to-date employment information  * Keeps accurate records of personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, and terminations * Maintains HR files including but not limited to personnel files * Assists with the coordination of new hire Orientation, including communications and materials preparation * Supports Wellbeing initiatives virtually and onsite, including Wellness credits administration * Performs weekly and ad hoc reporting in support of internal departments and initiatives * Collects and maintains Hep B vaccination information for team members as required by OSHA * Assists with the equipment return process for separating team members  * Serves as first point of contact for team members with general HR questions * Triages team member questions from multiple email and fax inboxes  * Provides support to other HR Departments/areas when needed (Benefits, Recruiting, Training, etc.) * Handles sensitive information and maintains confidentiality Successful Candidates Must Possess: * High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources preferred * With a Bachelor’s degree, no experience required; with a high school diploma/GED, a minimum of two (2) years of administrative support experience required * Strong computer skills required (Microsoft Office Suite, ADP preferred) * Must possess strong communication skills; professional communicator * SharePoint proficiency preferred * Prioritizing ability in a dynamic environment * Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills required * Ability to quickly build productive working relationships and interact with staff at all levels * Ability to work independently and in a teaming, highly collaborative environment  Aegis Sciences Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer
