CEXEC, Inc. has an immediate opening for a full-time Human Resources (HR) Assistant at our Reston VA headquarters.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Suite is required.
  • This is a high-visibility position and excellent written and oral communication skills are required.
  • Some familiarity with human resources, Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and Deltek CostPoint is desired.

Responsibilities
  • HR Assistant has a vital role in providing a positive employment experience and works closely with the HR Administrator to meet corporate and department goals.
  • Help maintain positive employee relations and work to ensure worker satisfaction through education of HR policies and by fostering a positive work environment. The HR Assistant provides clear communication and prompt assistance to employees regarding human resources activities, processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Help organize, coordinate, and carry out day-to-day operations of the HR department. Job duties include processing of recruitment and employee documentation while maintaining the integrity, accuracy and confidentiality of the human resource files and records. Assist with new hire orientation, respond to employment background check inquiries, monthly HR invoicing/billing, managing logistics for corporate events, preparing correspondence, monitoring deadlines and department calendars, completing government reports, and generating departmental reports. Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, etc.
  • Should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and most importantly, personable and approachable with a desire to learn the human resources side of a business. The ideal candidate will be great at multi-tasking, detail oriented and enjoy working with all levels of employees.
  • Other duties include greeting visitors, handling mail, maintaining and ordering office supplies and other duties as assigned.
