This is a wonderful opportunity with a not-for-profit facility allowing for a flexible schedule and work/life balance requiring 20-25 hours per week. EOE Essential Duties and Responsibilities · Adhere to compliance and recordkeeping policies (e.g. maintain and update employee personnel files, audits HR Information and Payroll systems, employee personnel files, and other records to ensure integrity, ensure compliance posters are up to date, etc.) · Assist with Benefit Open Enrollment, Employee recognition events and other HR / Payroll special projects · Provide timely, professional and proactive customer service to staff, retirees, and vendors · Provide administrative support to the Human Resources department by maintaining calendars, coordinating schedules, and meetings · Ability to research personnel records, handle sensitive/confidential information with care · Ability to handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously with careful attention to detail · Performs other duties as assigned Requirements Knowledge and Skills · Excellent verbal and written communication skills · Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team · Ability to communicate clearly and confidentially in a professional manner, both verbally and in writing. · Strong customer-service orientation with the ability to ensure confidentiality and professionalism is maintained when dealing with sensitive / confidential information Minimum Education and Experience · High School Diploma or equivalent · Minimum of 1 year experience in an office environment, preferably in human resources
