EAI is currently seeking to add a Human Resources Assistant to our team. In this role, the individual will be responsible for assisting the Human Resources team, specifically with the entire recruitment cycle from sourcing, contacting, interviewing, and onboarding new hires. This would be a part-time position, working 25-29 hours per week (preferred core working hours will be 8:30am/9:00am to 2:30pm/3:00pm CST) Monday through Friday.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • The successful candidate will have a degree in Human Resources, Business, or similar, or applicable work experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in a Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Recruiter, or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Travel to other office locations (Welcome, Mankato, or Edina, MN) for interviews and meetings will be required (would be 5% or less – mileage expense would be reimbursed).
  • The candidate must be proficient with recruitment on all social media platforms and have experience in other current recruitment concepts.
  • The successful candidate must be motivated, outgoing, self-directed, and detail oriented.

This position will be based out of our Edina, MN office (Braemar Office Park - https://www.tourbraemarofficepark.com/), with flexible hybrid work on an occasional basis.

  • Wage = $25.00 - $29.00/hour

Responsibilities
  • Review candidate information including resumes, cover letters, and other information.
  • Keep applicant tracking systems, job boards, and other hiring/recruitment software programs accurate and up to date.
  • Post job details and descriptions on various external job boards.
  • Arrange and conduct phone screenings, interviews, and other necessary meetings/conversations with prospective candidates.
  • Occasionally organize and attend career fairs, job events and other recruitment events (this would mainly apply to events in the Twin Cities metro area).
  • Utilize recruitment software programs including Indeed and LinkedIn to actively search and recruit potential talent.
  • Maintain accurate records of candidate interviews, feedback, and hiring decisions for future reference and audit purposes.
  • Assist with internal events and trainings including employee events, meetings, and activities.
  • Assist with various HR administrative tasks such as maintaining employee records, preparing onboarding materials, and ensuring accurate personnel documentation.
  • Provide office administration support at our Edina location, including managing office supplies, coordinating meetings, and offering general assistance for internal company events and activities.
