Friendship is looking for Full Time Human Resources Assistant to join our Friendship Human Resources team, located in Roanoke, VA. The HR Assistant will provide administrative support to the Human Resources and Education department. Shift/Status: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday Roles & Responsibilities: Provide on-site assistance for new hires onboarding as necessary Responsible for employee ID badges Maintain current employee list on internal Facebook page Coordinate and manage birthday and anniversary reports on a monthly basis Provide excellent customer service via phone and in person Direct mail and incoming correspondence to appropriate individuals Complete basic employment verifications Assist HR staff with various projects as needed and other duties as assigned Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED require HRIS experience preferred Must have excellent attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks Ability to work and communicate with all levels of management Benefits for Full Time Positions: 401(k) retirement plan along with employer match Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Flexible Spending Account Paid Time Off Company Paid Life Insurance Education Assistance Voluntary insurance (additional life insurance, accident insurance, critical illness, short term disability) Employee Assistance Program Friendship values diversity.
