OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our dynamic HR team. This role is essential in supporting various HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, and benefits administration. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a solid understanding of human capital management practices. QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field preferred; relevant experience will be considered.
  • Strong understanding of human resources principles, practices, and employment laws.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, Paychex, Dayforce) and ATS platforms (e.g., Taleo, Paylocity).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience in project management and organizational design is a plus.
  • Familiarity with talent management processes, including recruiting, training & development, and employee relations.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Strong analytical skills for data collection and reporting purposes.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and managing applicant tracking systems (ATS) such as Lever and iCIMS.
  • Support employee orientation programs to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new hires.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and assist with data entry into HRIS systems like Workday, ADP, or Oracle HCM.
  • Facilitate employee evaluations and performance management processes to enhance workforce productivity.
  • Administer benefits programs and assist employees with inquiries related to benefits administration and workers’ compensation.
  • Collaborate on change management initiatives and strategic planning efforts to improve organizational effectiveness.
  • Support compliance with employment and labor laws, including FMLA and OSHA regulations.
  • Participate in training and development programs to foster employee growth and engagement.
  • Assist with affirmative action planning and succession planning efforts within the organization.
  • Manage social media platforms for recruitment purposes and enhance employer branding.
