Description Human Resources Assistant Location: Morgan Hill, California (Onsite Only) We are looking for a detail oriented, people focused Human Resources Assistant to support our HR and operations team at our manufacturing facility in Morgan Hill, CA. This is a fully onsite role that plays a key part in keeping our HR processes organized and our employees supported. Key Responsibilities • Track HR data and forms to keep records accurate and up to date • Audit timecards, follow up with supervisors for approvals, and help ensure payroll deadlines are met • Maintain training attendance logs and track skills training and sign off forms • Coordinate employee events and recognition activities, including sign ups, flyers, ordering supplies, and day of support • Ensure onboarding events are ready to go every time (materials, room setup, reminders) • Monitor completion of new hire onboarding checklists and follow up on any missing items • Support hourly assembler recruiting: post jobs, screen candidates for minimum qualifications, and schedule on site or Teams interviews at all levels • Coordinate with staffing agencies: track temps, start/end dates, and reconcile invoices against hours worked • Respond to basic employee questions by referencing the employee handbook and directing more complex issues to HR leadership Requirements What We’re Looking For • Prior experience in an administrative, HR, staffing, or office support role (manufacturing experience is a plus) • Strong attention to detail and follow through; comfortable tracking multiple lists and deadlines • Clear, professional communication skills with employees, supervisors, and external partners • Comfort using basic computer tools (email, spreadsheets, HR/timekeeping systems) • Customer service mindset, with a desire to help employees and support the HR function • Extreme discretion and protection of confidential personal information If you enjoy making systems run smoothly, supporting people, and being a go to resource on site, we’d love to hear from you.
