JOB OVERVIEW

Join our team at Kendal on Hudson! We are actively hiring for our vibrant community and are currently seeking a full-time HR Assistant to join our Human Resources department!
We are seeking a highly organized HR Assistant that will be able to aide our dynamic team in our HR focused deliverables. This role will heavily focus on HR administrative support, HR request intake, schedule coordination and event planning. The right candidate will have good organization skills, communication skills, and be able to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information. Candidates should be able to work in both an independent and team setting, and have a proactive mindset.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1 - 2 years experience in an Human Resources related role required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, & Outlook)
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint preferred
  • Experience with Canva preferred
  • Bi-Lingual English/Spanish is highly preferred
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 40 per week

Responsibilities
  • Organizing files and new hire documents including copying, scanning, and electronic file organization
  • Maintaining HR calendar of events
  • Act as first point of contact for HR related questions and concerns, escalating higher level requests to appropriate team members
  • Assist in planning organization-wide activities and events
  • Other administrative support tasks as needed
