Job Pay: $31 per hour to $36 per hour- DOE.

Report to: Human Resource Supervisor
Location: Diamond Bar, CA
Business Hours: Mon- Fri, 9am – 6pm

JOB OVERVIEW:

Ono Hawaiian BBQ is seeking to hire a Human Resource Assistant level III who has strong time management experience and good attention to detail. The Human Resource Assistant will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organizations Human Resources Department.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate Degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • 5+ years of related experience in Human Resources.
  • Familiar with Dayforce a plus
  • High attention to detail
  • Time management is a must.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Trilingual English/Spanish/Chinese
  • Ability to provide timely updates and reports to human resource managers.
  • Familiar with the Human Resources department.
  • Capacity for teamwork as well as working individually.
  • Intermediate command of MS Office (Excel especially) and any relevant HR software.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
  • Reviewing and entering employee data into computer database from digital documents received.
  • Verify data by comparing it to source documents.
  • Serve as a reliable source of information for employees and Operation management, promptly answering questions they may have and addressing complaints professionally and in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records, including (but not limited to) new hire documents, corrective actions, performance evaluations, and training forms (hard copy).
  • Sorting emails for the HR department.
  • Monitor unemployment claims by reviewing claims, verifying employee status, and completing forms.
  • Lead efforts with workers’ compensation claims when needed.
  • Lead efforts with investigating and resolving workplace complaints when needed.
  • Lead efforts with ad hoc reporting when needed.
  • Assist with planning and execution of events such as employee recognition events, and monthly celebrations.
  • Completing other duties as assigned.
