Duties
- Provide support to the HR department in various areas, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and benefits administration.
- Responsible for payroll, pay grid, group Benefits (liaison with service providers); retirement planning; Non-monetary recognition and rewards; WSIB and return to work.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews, conduct background checks, and assist with the hiring process.
- Maintain employee records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
- Responsible for the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and assist with employee communications.
- Conduct exit interviews and provide recommendations for improvement.
Experience
- ·A College Diploma in HR Management or a combination of any business-related diploma with a certificate in HRM.
- Actively engaged in completing the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation.
- 2 years of experience in an HR Administrator or Coordinator role.
