Description

The Ottawa Dental Laboratory, founded in 1937, is a family owned and operated business located in Ottawa, IL, and is seeking candidates for the position of HR Assistant at our Ottawa location.
This position will be a great addition to our current HR Team and reports to our Sr. HR Manager.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The HR Assistant supports the Human Resources Team by supporting all payroll related functions, maintaining personnel records, managing HR documents and updating internal databases.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Prior payroll and/or HR experience preferred
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion
  • Competent at managing and delivering on multiple requests and adapting quickly to changing priorities
  • Strong communication skills
  • Detail-oriented
    Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
    We will provide the Social Security Administration (SSA) and, if necessary, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), with information from each new employee’s Form I-9 to confirm work authorization. IMPORTANT: If the Government cannot confirm that you are authorized to work, we are required to give you written instructions and an opportunity to contact DHS and/or the SSA before taking adverse action against you, including terminating your employment.
