JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our dynamic HR team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting various HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, and benefits administration. This position requires strong communication skills and a solid understanding of human capital management principles. The Human Resources Assistant will assist in fostering a positive workplace culture while ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.

EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and experience:

  • Strong understanding of human resources management principles, including talent acquisition, workforce management, and organization design.
  • Familiarity with project management practices related to HR initiatives.
  • Proficiency in data entry and managing HR-related documentation accurately.
  • Experience with HR software systems such as Workday, Dayforce, Oracle HCM, or SAP SuccessFactors is preferred.
  • Knowledge of recruiting strategies through social media management platforms.
  • Previous administrative experience in an HR setting is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews using ATS platforms such as Lever and iCIMS.
  • Facilitate employee orientation programs to ensure new hires are effectively onboarded.
  • Support talent management initiatives, including performance management and employee evaluations.
  • Maintain HRIS databases for accurate employee records and data collection.
  • Administer benefits programs and assist employees with inquiries regarding benefits administration.
  • Collaborate on change management projects to enhance organizational effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with FMLA, OSHA, and other employment & labor laws.
  • Participate in affirmative action planning and succession planning efforts.
  • Provide administrative support for payroll processing using systems like ADP or Paychex.
  • Assist in training & development initiatives to promote employee growth.
  • Manage employee relations issues with a focus on conflict management and resolution.
