Description Summary: The HR Assistant will provide administrative support to the Human Resources department, ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and highly organized individual who is eager to gain hands-on experience in various HR functions while supporting the overall efficiency of the team. Duties: Assist in the administration of employee attendance tracking, ensuring accurate record-keeping and timely reporting. Assist in coordinating and scheduling interviews, onboarding sessions, training programs, and HR-related meetings. Assist in recruiting efforts by reviewing applications, scheduling interviews, and keeping application categories organized and up to date. Maintain HR records and databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date employee information. Assist in processing paperwork for new hires, terminations, promotions, and other employment changes. Handle general HR inquiries and assist employees with basic HR-related questions. Assist with HR software data entry, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of employee records. Maintain a workflow that adheres to HR deadlines and regulatory requirements. Perform other administrative tasks and special projects as needed. This is not intended to be a comprehensive list of job duties. Other job-related responsibilities will be assigned as needed. Requirements Responsibilities: Education, and/or experience equivalent to a two-year degree Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn proprietary HR software. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the HR team. Previous experience in an HR, administrative, or customer service role is a plus. Must be able to sit and work at a desk for extended periods Must be able to communicate (read, write and speak) the English language clearly
