HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT JOB DESCRIPTION

Reports to: Human Resources Director
Position Purpose: Provide administrative support to the HR Department in on boarding, file maintenance, data entry, and other Human Resources projects as needed. Assist the HR department in up holding state and federal employment laws.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain employee/provider files
  • Scanning and uploading paperwork, and updating HR database
  • Build file updates to be delivered to employees/providers
  • Screen and schedule provider applicants
  • Send out interview emails with Application and References form.
  • Perform interviews
  • Call References
  • Communicate with team on potential new hires
  • Process reference checks and background checks for applicants
  • Schedule providers to take classes/trainings
  • Assist with processing employee/provider checks for payroll
  • Uploading Payroll onto SharePoint
  • Audit Transportation Invoices
  • Audit Invoices
  • Assist Managers with Billing
  • Perform additional administrative tasks to support the department
  • Maintaining Office Expense Logs
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Create, Monitor and Manage Requisitions

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field, or High School Diploma (or equivalent) with at least two years of administrative experience

  • Computer-literate with basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Prioritize workload and meet deadlines

  • Criminal and Colorado Adult Protective Services background checks required

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working at the computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at a time

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
