SUMMARY

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive HR Assistant to provide administrative support in various HR functions. You will assist in Recruitment, Employee Records Management, Benefits processing, Time & Attendance and HR projects. The role is for 6 months (Full-Time) with possibility of extension.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficiency in HR technology and systems, including Monday.com, Google Workspace, and HR software.
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations and recruitment processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Skilled in data entry and maintaining accurate, organized records.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing work environments, with the ability to quickly learn and adjust to new processes and tasks.
  • Strong ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information with discretion.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems is considered an asset.
  • Previous experience as an HR Assistant or in a similar role is an advantage.
    Job Type: Fixed term contract
    Contract length: 6 months
    Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 37.5 per week

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening candidates and interview scheduling.
  • Support employee onboarding and orientation activities.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HR documentation is up-to-date.
  • Assist in communication between employees and management regarding HR policies.
  • Assist with payroll processing and benefits administration.
  • Coordinate training and development programs for staff.
  • Help manage employee relations issues and provide support as needed.
  • Coordinate employees leave requests and maintain accurate attendance records.
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR department.
  • Participate in all HR projects and process creation and improvements
  • Perform various HR-related duties as assigned, including conducting data entry tasks to support HR functions.
