With multiple locations across the GTA and a growing team of 40+ professionals, we take pride in delivering top-tier grooming experiences, building community, and shaping the future of barbering. Our vision goes beyond the chair: we’re expanding into grooming products, events, and the Ultimate Fades Academy to train the next generation of barbers.
We’re looking for a Human Resources Manager who will play a key role in shaping our people operations, supporting our staff, and helping us scale to the next level.

What You’ll Do

  • Recruitment & Onboarding
  • Lead the hiring process for barbers, receptionists, and managers.
  • Build relationships with local schools, barber programs, and referral networks.
  • Develop and deliver onboarding that makes new team members feel at home.
  • Scheduling & Workforce Management
  • Implement and manage scheduling software across multiple shops.
  • Work with managers to balance staffing needs and maintain smooth operations.
  • Track attendance, vacation, and sick leave to ensure consistency.
  • Training & Development
  • Design and deliver staff training on customer service, shop standards, and health & safety.
  • Support the launch of the Ultimate Fades Academy training programs.
  • Introduce performance reviews and coaching for professional growth.
  • Employee Relations & Culture
  • Be the go-to person for staff questions, feedback, and workplace issues.
  • Promote a respectful, positive, and motivating work environment.
  • Manage conflict resolution and disciplinary actions when required.
  • Compliance & Administration
  • Ensure all policies meet Ontario labor laws and workplace safety requirements.
  • Maintain accurate HR files and contracts.
  • Support payroll and benefits administration.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–5 years of HR experience (retail, hospitality, or multi-location experience is a plus).
  • Knowledge of Ontario employment standards and HR best practices.
  • Experience with scheduling tools and HR systems (or ability to implement them).
  • Strong communication, organizational, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to travel between GTA shop locations.
  • Passion for people, culture, and helping others succeed.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $28,000.00-$93,823.91 per year
Expected hours: 4 – 10 per week
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Toronto, ON M5V 2B6
Expected start date: 2025-09-3
