HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT:
We are looking for a full-time Human Resources Assistant. This position requires a working knowledge of California employment and payroll laws, with the ability to apply them in daily HR practices. This position is expected to handle sensitive information and must protect private and confidential information. Must be detail oriented, able to multi-task in a fast paced, high volume construction company environment. Ability to manage and prioritize numerous state and federal reporting deadlines.

· Assist in maintaining employee database for new hires, terminations, and all other changes.
· Conduct new hire orientations and maintain the required documentation in the new hire documentation package.
· Assist in maintaining all employee benefits by coordinating with insurance broker, and carrier online platforms, including 401k administration.
· Help ensure compliance with employment and labor laws.
· Compile and report all census data as required and on time, such as but not limited to, EEO-1, CA Pay Data Report, etc.
· Participate in the administration of the annual open enrollment process and participate in the renewal of benefit plans.
· Assist in the administration of the ACA reporting process.
· Collaborate with the Controller and Assistant Controller in the 401k annual audit.
