Wood Rodgers, a leading engineering consulting firm, is hiring a Human Resources Assistant to join our Human Resources Department. Under direct supervision, the HR Assistant provides support on a variety of tasks, often managing multiple priorities simultaneously. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines with accuracy. As a key member of the HR team, the HR Assistant is expected to be flexible and ready to contribute wherever needed to support overall team success.
This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • 0–2 years of experience in an administrative or HR support role.
  • Degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Strong sense of discretion and ability to maintain complete confidentiality.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with solid typing and computer skills.
  • Basic understanding of employment and labor laws.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally at all levels.
  • Experience with HR software systems such as HRIS/HRMS and applicant tracking systems (ATS); familiarity with resume databases is a plus.
