Position Overview:
The Department of Healthcare and Family Services, Division of Child Support Services is seeking to hire a highly qualified and motivated professional to join our Cook/Personnel Services team in the role of Human Resources Associate. This position will perform para-professional duties for the Personnel Services Cook unit, and will gather, review, and certify timekeeping records for Division employees. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills to be successful in performing the operations of the Personnel Services team.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to the completion of two years of college or satisfactory completion of an approved training program
  • Requires the ability to keyboard accurately at 30 wpm.
Responsibilities
  • Performs a variety of para-professional duties for the Division of Child Support Services
  • Gathers information and keyboards letters, forms, records, and employee bid lists
  • Gathers information and submits timekeeping records for the Division of Child Support Services
  • Reviews CMS 104s within the Division for accuracy and updates organizational charts
  • Processes Merit Compensation increases for Division staff
  • Monitors employee performance evaluation files
  • Receives contracts for contractual employees, including 75-Day and summer workers
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above
