HUMAN RESOURCES BUSINESS PARTNER (12-MONTH PARENTAL LEAVE COVER)

The Role
We are seeking an experienced HR professional to join our team on a 12-month Parental Leave contract as a Human Resources Business Partner. This role supports a workforce of over 200 employees and provides both strategic and operational HR support across the business.

Duties include but not limited to;

  • Act as a trusted advisor to leaders on workforce planning, performance, engagement, and change management.
  • Lead and manage complex employee relations matters and ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal policies.
  • Oversee end-to-end recruitment and onboarding, including senior appointments.
  • Drive retention strategies and support talent development initiatives.
  • Maintain and enhance HR systems, records, and policies in line with best practice and legal requirements.
  • Provide guidance on performance management and support managers with reviews and coaching.
  • Act as the main point of contact for legal counsel on employment matters. Support investigations, risk assessments, and compliance in relation to Fair Work, WHS, and other employment legislation.
  • Lead and mentor the HR Team, building strong working relationships across the business with external stakeholders.
  • Other duties as requested by the Business Support Manager.
