The HR Business Partner serves as a strategic and operational partner to assigned business units, supporting a range of HR functions including employee relations, talent planning, onboarding, and engagement. This role contributes to the development and execution of HR initiatives that align with organizational goals, while also providing day-to-day guidance and support to employees and leaders.

Responsibilities

Talent Planning & Acquisition

  • Collaborate with business leaders and Talent Acquisition Partners to support workforce planning and role design.
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition Specialist to facilitate job postings, candidate screenings, and interview coordination.
  • Support early career programs, including internships and academic partnerships.
  • Oversee onboarding for contractors and vendors as part of comprehensive onboarding support.
  • Participate in interviews and contribute to selection decisions.

Employee Navigation & HR Support

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding benefits, leave, and HR policies.
  • Support onboarding, employee relations intake, and offboarding, ensuring smooth transitions throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Promote learning and development resources and assist in identifying skill gaps.
  • Contribute to HR data tracking, reporting, and analysis to inform decision-making.

Culture & Engagement

  • Assist in the implementation of organizational initiatives and culture-building efforts.
  • Partner with Talent Development and People Solutions to coordinate engagement activities.
  • Gather and synthesize employee feedback to enhance communication and engagement strategies.
  • Represent HR in team meetings and contribute to cross-functional discussions.

Other Duties as Assigned

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned, which may include specific projects or tasks.
  • Participate in continuous learning activities to sustain knowledge of the industry, management practices, and bank policies, procedures, and guidelines.
