Description
Job ResponsibilitiesHR Management & Operations: Lead full-cycle HR operations for the Middle East division based in Dubai, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and compensation & benefits administration, ensuring alignment with Geely's global HR policies and local market practices.
Local Compliance & Government Relations: Ensure full compliance with UAE labor law, immigration regulations, GOSA (social insurance), WPS (Wage Protection System), and other statutory requirements. Maintain effective relationships with relevant government authorities (MOHRE, DED, GDRFA, etc.) and manage all visa, labor card, and permit processes.
Office & Facilities Administration: Oversee daily office operations in Dubai, including facility management, procurement of office supplies and equipment, vendor management, contract negotiation with service providers, and workplace health & safety compliance.
Talent Acquisition & Development: Drive local and expatriate recruitment for the Middle East division, build talent pipelines for key positions across regional markets (UAE, Qatar, Iraq, etc.), and implement training & development programs to build local team capability.
Cross-border HR Support: Provide HR and administrative support to Geely's Middle East regional teams (Qatar, Iraq, Saudi, etc.), including policy rollout, headcount planning, budget management, and serving as the HR business partner to the Middle East leadership team.
QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
Experience: 5+ years of HR and administration experience, with at least 2 years in the UAE market. Automotive industry experience is preferred. Experience supporting multi-country operations in the Middle East is a strong plus.
Language: English as working language (mandatory). Arabic is a plus. Chinese (Mandarin) is an advantage for HQ communication.
Knowledge: Solid understanding of UAE labor law, immigration procedures, and local employment practices. Familiar with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office suite.
Competencies: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, cultural sensitivity, ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, and high integrity in handling confidential information.
