Responsibilities
  • Develop strong relationships with managers to understand their business needs in order to provide advice on human resources management issues
  • Provide support to managers on workforce planning, recruitment and retention strategies
  • Coach and empower leaders across business units on best practices in human resources management
  • Advise and support managers on performance management and disciplinary measures
  • Evaluate job descriptions, provide advice on band width and compensation and ensure pay equity legislation
  • Manage complete recruitment process for assigned business units
  • Contribute actively to HR process optimization solutions
  • Develop business relationships with various external partners to meet department objectives (recruitment firms, competency assessment, etc.)
  • Stay abreast of legislative changes in Canada that may have an impact on the organization’s human resources practices.
  • Actively participate in various HR projects
  • Manage employee relations and disability case when required
  • Conduct various benchmarking analysis to provide optimal HR solutions
  • Implement and monitor various HR performance metrics
  • Actively collaborate with the HR team and the various departments to ensure alignment with our business needs
  • Communicate efficiently with payroll & benefits team
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management
