About the JobThe Assistant Manager, Learning & Development is responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and evaluation of learning and employee development initiatives across the organization. This role plays a key part in enhancing employee performance, fostering a positive workplace culture, and driving engagement programs that improve employee retention and the overall employee experience.

• Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist in developing and implementing the organization's Learning & Development (L&D) strategy.
• Identify training needs through performance reviews, employee feedback, and operational requirements.
• Coordinate and facilitate training programs, including onboarding, technical, compliance, and soft skills training.
• Support leadership development, talent management, and succession planning initiatives.
• Monitor training effectiveness and evaluate the return on investment (ROI) of learning programs.
• Maintain accurate training records and ensure compliance with all mandatory training requirements.
• Design and implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance morale, productivity, and retention.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute employee engagement activities, events, and recognition programs.
• Support initiatives that foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance workplace culture.
• Drive internal communication programs that strengthen employee connection, engagement, and organizational alignment.
• Assist in developing and monitoring Individual Development Plans (IDPs) for employees.
• Identify high-potential employees and support talent development and career progression initiatives.
• Partner with department heads to identify skill gaps and address development needs.
• Ensure effective orientation and onboarding programs for new hires to support smooth integration into the organization.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting related to training, development, and engagement activities.
• Work closely with Human Resources, department heads, and leadership teams to implement L&D and employee engagement initiatives.
• Coordinate with external training providers, consultants, and vendors as required.
• Ensure all learning, development, and engagement initiatives comply with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
• Prepare training and engagement reports, dashboards, and analytics to measure program effectiveness and support decision-making.
• Continuously seek innovative learning solutions and employee engagement best practices to enhance the overall employee experience.

• About YouBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
• 4 to 6 years of experience in Learning & Development, Human Resources, or Employee Engagement.
• Experience in the hospitality industry or multi-property organizations is an advantage.
• Professional certification in training, learning, or facilitation is an added advantage.
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Creative thinking with the ability to design and deliver engaging learning and engagement programs.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data effectively.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to influence, build relationships, and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proactive, energetic, and people-oriented with a passion for developing and engaging employees.
