Company: Precision Drilling Location: Houston, TX   Summary The HR Business Partner (HRBP) aligns business objectives with employees and management in designated internal customer groups. The HRBP partners with senior HRBPs, other HRBPs, and HR functional areas to deliver value-added services to management and employees that reflect the organization's business objectives. This role will provide front-line HR support by actively partnering with the business and proactively identifying and addressing employee concerns.   Responsibilities  Manage all PD Cares initiatives and events  Organize and plan Precision social events  Implement and improve PD branding on all HR forms and documentation  Develop and lead the internship program for the U.S. and Canada. Work closely with hiring managers and the HR team to ensure a positive candidate experience  Work with the HR Team and business management to ensure critical people processes (onboarding, promotions, transfers, terminations, etc.) are effectively and efficiently completed/documented  Partner with Talent Acquisition as appropriate to assist in the implementation of recruiting initiatives within the business  Actively participate in addressing employee relations matters; assist with conducting and documenting internal investigations and deliver disciplinary actions as required  Educate the business regarding HR policies and programs and ensure compliance  Maintain basic knowledge of legal requirements related to the day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance and partner with the legal department as needed/required  Participate in visits to various worksites in Houston, as directed  Ensure that the termination process is communicated and followed, including termination documentation and exit interviews  Build strong relationships with business managers/leaders within the department/division supported  Participate in special HR projects and perform other duties as assigned   Skills & Competencies Effective written and verbal communication skills  Ability to work effectively with individuals at various levels of the organization  Strong interpersonal skills  Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times  Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently  Strong computer literacy, including MS Office; SAP preferred  Able to build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders  Excellent time management and organizational skills  High attention to detail  Good research and problem-solving skills  Ability to interpret and implement company policies and procedures  Ability to prepare and analyze clear and concise reports   Education Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business or related discipline; or equivalent years of relevant HR experience   Experience Minimum 4 years of work experience in HR required Experience in employee relations Experience in the oil and gas industry preferred
