Responsibilities
  • Implements and administers Seed & Stone people policies and promotes positive employee engagement and labor relations.
  • Leads and monitors performance-related matters and implements changes that align with best practices and encourages organizational productivity.
  • Provides recruiting oversight and candidate screening and assessment supporting hiring managers with all stages of talent acquisition from posting to selection and onboarding.
  • Partners with Accounting to support payroll and benefits administration.
  • Supports people leaders with HR matters, labor and employee relations.
  • Advises leaders on all labor relations matters including collective agreement administration, investigations, discipline, and grievances.
  • Guides the full employee life cycle from hire to departure.
  • Guides Seed & Stone’s Health & Safety.
  • Oversees employee disability and leaves.
  • Assists with employee file management including working with the HRIS.
  • Provides training and guidance to people leaders on key HR best practices.
  • Aligns HR practices with organizational goals (it’s prioritization and strategy).
  • Communicates engagement and people programs through emails and other mediums.
  • Supports diversity, inclusion and belonging activities.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by the Leadership.
