We are working with an ambitious space tech company in Germany to recruit a HR Business Partner who can help shape and strengthen its people function as the business continues to grow.This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys operating at the intersection of people, culture, and business performance. You’ll work closely with teams and leaders across the organisation, helping create an environment where talented people can do their best work while ensuring the business has the right foundations to scale.

The ideal person will be equally comfortable thinking strategically and rolling up their sleeves to make things happen. You’ll bring structure where needed, challenge unnecessary complexity, and help develop people practices that support a fast-moving, technically driven organisation.

• The opportunitySupport the development of effective people practices as the organisation evolves and grows.
• Work closely with managers and employees to understand business priorities and provide practical, people-focused guidance.
• Help strengthen the employee experience, from joining the business through to development and progression.
• Partner with leaders to support performance, engagement, feedback, and team effectiveness.
• Introduce and refine straightforward processes that improve consistency without creating unnecessary bureaucracy.
• Contribute to a positive, high-performance culture built on collaboration, accountability, and shared ambition.
• Work cross-functionally to ensure people initiatives align with wider organisational goals.
• Take ownership of projects and improvements, translating ideas into practical outcomes.

• What we're looking forExperience in an HR Business Partner, People Partner, or People Operations role within a growing organisation.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build credibility with stakeholders at different levels.
• A commercial mindset, with an understanding of how people practices contribute to business success.
• A hands-on approach and the confidence to build processes and frameworks from the ground up.
• Experience supporting managers with people-related decisions, employee development, and performance.
• The ability to balance operational detail with a broader view of organisational needs.
• A proactive, adaptable working style, with the judgement to prioritise and make decisions independently.
• A collaborative approach and a genuine interest in creating a positive employee experience.
• Familiarity with German employment legislation and the ability to communicate in German.
• Experience working in a highly technical, engineering-led, industrial, or safety-conscious environment.
• Exposure to businesses experiencing significant growth or organisational change.
