Key Responsibilities * Answer and screen incoming calls and inquiries, providing accurate information or directing to the appropriate personnel. * Open, sort, and distribute incoming mail for the HR department. * Prepare, maintain, and scan employee files, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with departmental procedures. * Organize and file various HR-related documents; research as needed. * Assist with employment verification requests. * Coordinate and send birthday and holiday cards to employees. * Process nametag orders for new hires and existing staff. * Serve as a backup to the Corporate Receptionist(s) as needed. * Support the coordination of company events such as career fairs and community outreach initiatives (e.g., League Against Cancer). * Perform general clerical duties, including supply management, equipment operation, and document preparation. * Demonstrate professionalism and courtesy in interactions with patients, visitors, and staff. * Maintain open and effective communication with center administration and other departments, responding to inquiries in a timely and courteous manner. Qualifications * Bilingual - fluency in English and Spanish * Currently enrolled in a Human Resources degree program (preferred) * Previous administrative or HR experience (preferred) * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) * Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
