Description

As a member of the HR team, the HR Assistant reports to the Human Resources Manager. The HR Assistant (student) is responsible for providing administrative support to the HR team. Work must be done in a safe and efficient manner and comply with all Johnson Electric’s Health & Safety policies, procedures and quality systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with data entry, and input training documentation
  • Set up, maintain, organize and file relevant HR documents and files
  • Digitize - scan paper documents to electronic files
  • Update employee information with vendors
  • Ensure that the requirements of the Quality Management System and Environmental Health & Safety Systems are met.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications, Education And / or Experience:

Qualifications:

  • Very good interpersonal skills
  • Currently enrolled in High-school

Technical & Skill Requirements: Strong computer skills

  • Exposure to HRIS/time and attendance systems

Work Environment (including Physical Demands):

  • Office job; sitting, typing
