We are seeking a driven Human Resources Coordinator to join the Claridge’s Human Resources team at Claridge’s.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual who we anticipate will have worked in a similar role within the hospitality or travel and tourism industry. The ideal candidate will be a team player who is a fast learner, adaptable and has exceptional attention to detail, interpersonal and communication skills.
Your role is to provide a comprehensive, confidential Human Resource support to all employees at Claridge’s, building strong relationships with both employees and managers to support the achievement of our vision and goals.
You will assist and work with the Human Resources team to operate an effective and efficient Human Resources Department to ensure compliance with Claridge’s and Maybourne Hotel Group policies and current legislation.
You will be the first point of contact for the department, responding to telephone and email enquiries.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous HR administration experience
  • Strong Communication Skills – verbal and written
  • Strong administrative background
  • PC Literate, including Microsoft Word and Excel packages
  • Strong Customer Service focus
  • Strong sense of ownership
  • High level of accuracy with ability to manage a number of projects concurrently
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills

Responsibilities
  • To provide logistical and administrative support including arranging meetings, managing diaries, minute taking, arranging venues and equipment as required by the HR team.
  • To work collaboratively with the payroll function to ensure that all information is accurate and all payroll deadlines are met.
  • To assist with updating policies and procedures in line with changes in employment legislation.
  • To maintain the highest standards of organisation within our employees files. To carry out all departmental filing on a structured basis.
  • To prepare and distribute contracts of employment and transfer/ promotion letters
  • To support and organise staff social activities and awards.
  • Obtaining references for all new starters.Setting all new starters up on the HR system.
