The Human Resources Consultant is a regular, full-time position that primarily works daylight hours, Monday through Friday. Upon completion of initial training, flexibility may be offered to strong performers.
In this role, the Human Resources Consultant will be responsible for leading employee investigations, coaching leaders on how to have difficult conversations, regulatory compliance tracking, and leading retention and engagement initiatives. QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business or related field and one year of employee relations experience required.
• OR High School Diploma/GED and three years of employee relations experience required.
• Knowledge and understanding of federal, state and local legislation as it applies to human resources and the employment process is required.

• Lead business objectives with employees and management, serving as a business partner to management on HR-related issues and acts as a change agent.
• Partner with leaders to provide and implement HR initiatives that support management and employees across the organization.
• Collaborate with HR team to design and plan interventions that facilitate organizational changes.
• Collaborate with HR business and operational leaders to identify education gaps and development opportunities for management and employees. Partners with management to provide consultation on coaching and mentorship for staff.
• Provides leadership and mentorship within the HR department and oversee HR staff as needed.
• Drive change management practices to enable organizational effectiveness and foster a diversity & inclusion strategy that will maximize our competitive advantage and skills of the workforce.
• Effectively communicate expectations with business, operational, and HR partners while promoting a One Team collaborative atmosphere in which all functions of HR work together as one team.
• Participate on local and/or organization wide committees that focus on projects that move the organization forward and towards meeting its strategic goals.
