OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join FedEx Ground P&D (Pickup & Delivery) team. This role is essential in supporting various HR functions and ensuring our driver workforce is fully staffed with qualified, compliant, and well-trained personnel. The ideal candidate will be a master of organization, an excellent communicator, and able to manage multiple concurrent processes with a sense of urgency. In addition, knowledge of employment and labor laws is preferred. The HR Specialist will serve as the primary point of contact for the BC’s and AO’s specific to staffing needs and high level employee HR issues.

SKILLS

  • Familiarity with HR sourcing techniques and talent management strategies.
  • Proficiency in using various HR software systems such as Paychex
  • Knowledge of employment and labor laws
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with employees at all levels.
  • Administrative experience in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft office tools (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Knowledge of social media marketing techniques for sourcing candidates.

    Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
    Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain a continuous pipeline of qualified driver candidates across each FedEx contract.
  • Manage talent acquisition processes including recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
  • Facilitate employee orientation programs to ensure smooth integration into the company culture.
  • Support employee evaluation processes and performance management initiatives.
  • Maintain knowledge of First Advantage and FedEx screening processes
  • Ensure new hires meet FedEx’s Minimum Acceptable Driver Standards (MADS).
  • Maintain a dashboard of staffing needs across each contract and provide weekly updates on hiring to BC’s and AO’s
  • Participate in training & development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
