Description

Hand Over Hand is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant & Bookkeeper to provide essential support to our dynamic and fast-paced team. This dual-role position requires a professional who can efficiently manage HR-related tasks while maintaining accurate financial records to support the organization’s operations.

Human Resources Support:

  • Coordinate and schedule interviews for prospective Behavior Therapists and other staff.
  • Assist with new hire onboarding, including paperwork, background checks, and compliance documentation.
  • Maintain employee records, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and organized.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and assist in maintaining confidentiality of employee and client information.
  • Assist with credentialing processes for new and existing staff.

Bookkeeping & Payroll Support:

  • Assist with payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
  • Maintain financial records and bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks.
  • Process invoices, track expenses, and manage accounts payable/receivable.
  • Assist in financial reporting, budgeting, and reconciliation of accounts.
  • Work closely with leadership to ensure financial records align with organizational goals.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and general bookkeeping principles.
  • Experience in payroll processing and HR support functions.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Autism services, and ABA best practices is recommended.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and credentialing processes is a plus.
