JOB SUMMARY

Circle Square Foundation is seeking a multi-skilled and highly organized experienced Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential in supporting various HR functions, assisting with compliance with employment labor laws, and fostering a positive workplace culture. The ideal candidate will possess experience in benefits & leave administration, recruitment, and payroll.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in business administration, human resources, organizational development or a related field; and a minimum of two (2) years of progressively responsible human resources experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
  • Knowledge of regulatory programs governing human resources such as FMLA and ADA, employment practices, and employee relations.
  • Ability to ethically manage sensitive and confidential information is required.
  • Strong problem solving skills to assess and resolve problems or issues by gathering and assessing information, taking advice, accuracy and using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulations or law.
  • Strong organizational skills to plan, prioritize, multi-task and independently execute projects/tasks within specific deadlines while maintaining flexibility.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills as demonstrated by the ability to articulate complex information and issues clearly and concisely.
  • Strong interpersonal skills as demonstrated by the ability to interact collaboratively and productively and to build effective relationships with individuals of diverse backgrounds, including staff employees and members of the general public.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of personal computers and related departmental software, including but not limited to, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access.

Responsibilities
  • Serves as the lead for payroll submission, employee personnel files management, compliance reporting and leave management.
  • Responsible for candidate prescreening, conducting background checks, payroll onboarding and new hire orientation.
  • Serves as an onsite office presence to support administrative duties which include meeting coordination and scheduling, agenda/document preparation, ordering office supplies, maintaining office correspondence and providing administrative support to the Executive Directors which includes adhoc reporting and tasks on a needed basis.
  • Coordinates and provides organizational support related to human resources policies, procedures, special projects, employee recognition initiatives and the coordination of special events and workforce training.
  • Provides administrative support to the Human Resources department in the areas of benefits and leave management, recruitment, payroll, classification and compensation, worker’s compensation claims, and performance reviews.
  • Organizes and maintains electronic employee and business document management and confidentiality of sensitive information.
