Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

This contract role is ideal for someone who thrives in both structured and fast paced environments. You will lead full cycle recruitment efforts across all departments and support strategic HR projects during non hiring periods.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary Responsibilities – Recruitment and Talent Acquisition
- Manage full cycle recruitment including sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, offer letters, and onboarding
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define recruitment strategies and ideal candidate profiles
- Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines for both immediate and future hiring needs
- Utilize platforms such as Indeed, LinkedIn, and local college job boards to attract top talent
- Track and report key recruitment metrics including time to fill and source effectiveness
- Represent Dahl at job fairs, college career events, and co-op information sessions
Additional Responsibilities – Outside of Hiring Periods
- Standardize, update, and manage job descriptions to reflect current and future business needs
- Monitor and report onboarding and internal training participation and completion metrics
- Coordinate internal workshops and cross functional training sessions with relevant department leads
- Provide general HR administrative support and contribute to ad hoc HR projects
- Develop and maintain relationships with colleges, trade schools, and co-op programs to support student placement
- Assist in identifying and applying for government grants or tax credits tied to internships, co-ops, or hiring incentives
