Description

The Human Resources Coordinator provides support to the Corporate Human Resources Team through coordinating and contributing to the delivery of Learning & Development, Process Management and Talent Management programming. The HR Coordinator is also responsible for providing a full range of administrative services for the Vice President Corporate Human Resources.

Responsibilities
  • Creating and receiving purchase orders
  • Assist in approval and validation of invoices
  • Ordering office supplies
  • Arrange maintenance and service calls on printers
  • Coordinating IT supplies/issues
  • Preparing courier packages
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent in HR, business, industrial relations, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience required. Minimum of 1 year of work experience in Human Resources preferred
  • HR certification (e.g., CHRP, SHRP, PHR, SPHR) would be an asset
  • Experience managing small to medium projects and processes with limited oversight from supervisor.
  • Customer focused with superior communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to facilitate meetings with internal and external parties, in-person or virtually.
  • Strong organizational skills demonstrating excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills to manage several applicants while anticipating shifts in priorities.
  • SharePoint knowledge is considered an asset
  • Successful completion of post-secondary education is considered an asset.
  • Strong Microsoft office skills including excel, PowerPoint and word
  • Fluency in English is a requirement of this role. Ability to speak French and/or other languages considered an asset.
