WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

We are seeking a Human Resources Coordinator with strong administration and people skills who is looking for the opportunity to be a part of a growing organization. This position will provide general assistance to the HR department by helping to manage daily administrative and HR duties.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A recent graduate with a BA in HR, Business, or other related field, or, 1 year of work experience in the same role plus a High School Diploma.
  • Preferred experience as an HR Administrator or relevant Human Resources/administrative position.
  • Strong MS Office skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Mature and able to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Team mentality with the desire to be part of a growing and changing organization.
  • Recruitment experience is an asset.
  • HRIS experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain employee records, including, but not limited to; employee updates and ensuring employee files are complete and valid.
  • Screen incoming telephone calls/emails and support internal and external HR-related inquiries and requests.
  • Distribute weekly HR meeting agendas and record meeting minutes.
  • Update the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) as needed.
  • Update internal tracking tools used to organize workload, onboarding & offboarding progress, performance reviews, employee metrics, and other assigned tasks.
  • Draft letters of employment, distribute employee communications, and coordinate onboarding activities.
  • Answer frequently asked questions from employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refer more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.
  • Support the talent acquisition process with the following, but not limited to; posting on job boards, screening applicants, scheduling interviews, distributing and tracking onboarding paperwork.
  • Assist in ad-hoc HR projects and programs.
  • Provide administration support to other HR professionals.
  • Directly engages with and supports the HR Director.
  • Exposure to US and Australia operations.
