Description Human Resources Coordinator Job purpose The Human Resource Coordinator supports the day-to-day operations of the HR department by assisting with employee relations, compliance, onboarding/orientation, and HR administration. This role helps ensure dealership policies and procedures are followed while providing support to employees and management in various HR functions. Pay commensurate with experience. Duties and responsibilities Coordinates and leads all new hire orientations, including onboarding, new hire paperwork, and system setup. Assist with employee transitions including transfers, status changes, and offboarding processes. Maintain employee personnel files and HR records in compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Support HR with workers’ compensation claims, leave of absence tracking, and unemployment claims. Assist in preparing and documenting corrective actions and disciplinary documentation. Track and maintain safety, compliance, and training programs required by the dealership. Coordinate all offboarding processes. Assist employees with HR-related questions regarding policies, benefits, and procedures. Support management with HR reporting, documentation, and administrative tasks. Help ensure compliance with federal, state, and company employment policies. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Competencies · 1–3 years of Human Resources experience preferred. · Bachelor's or associate degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. · Experience in Automotive dealership environment is a plus. · Experience with Paylocity or other HRIS/payroll platforms a plus. · Strong organizational and documentation skills. · Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills. · Excellent time management skills. · Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks. · Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. · Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. · Must be able to lift 15lbs. · Must be able to access and navigate each department at the various dealerships.
