FG Deli Group Ltd, located in Langley B.C., is the progressive leader in the manufacture of premium quality European meat products and is currently recruiting for the position of:

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Completion of post-secondary degree or certificate in Human Resources
  • 1 to 3 years of Human Resources working experience
  • CPHR designation- is an asset
  • Previous experience in food manufacturing is an asset
  • Knowledge of HR trends, practices and recruiting
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Experience dealing with a unionized workforce is preferred
  • Must be able to work well under pressure and in a team environment
  • Must be flexible and adaptable to changing work demands
  • Must be able to multi-task and possess strong organizational skills
  • The ability to meet goals with minimal supervision and good business sense
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy

Responsibilities
  • Will be actively involved in recruiting process.
  • Sourcing and screening of candidate
  • Schedule and attend in-person/online interviews
  • Conduct reference check and provide feedback
  • Facilitate onboarding process for all new recruits
  • Provide training to hourly employees on Human Relations processes and policies during the onboarding process.
  • Maintain constructive relations with Unions representative and Management Team
  • Utilize job boards, sourcing tools and Human Resources techniques to attract and identify candidates
  • Utilize and mange social media presence in the recruiting process
  • Provide effective support to Management and actively work to achieve continuous improvement in the areas of the Human Relations function
  • Other assignments and projects as HR and business needs dictate
