Responsibilities

THE ROLE

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and people-focused HR professional to support and improve the employee experience at IDS. You’ll work closely with the Operations Manager, General Manager, Operations team, Disability Support Workers, and external stakeholders to coordinate end-to-end HR administration and recruitment functions.

You will:

  • Be the friendly and knowledgeable first point of contact for all HR-related queries
  • Support recruitment activities: writing job ads, screening applicants, coordinating interviews
  • Oversee onboarding and induction processes, ensuring HR compliance
  • Maintain employee records and HR systems with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
  • Help review and redesign HR checklists, templates, and processes
  • Provide monthly HR metrics and reporting
  • Contribute to a supportive, values-driven workplace culture

You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

  • Previous experience in HR administration or coordination
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills
  • High attention to detail and a knack for solving problems
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office, HR systems, and collaboration tools (e.g. MS Teams)
